MI Book Reviews, a site with a strong focus on independently published books, has published an enthusiastic review of my novel (and kindly added it also to Amazon and Goodreads), which included the unexpected comparison to the writing of Fannie Flagg (Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe):
“There were such rich characters and history that Fannie Flagg was called to mind. Though Flagg would have to be drunk to come up with this story”
The Intrepid Ms. Flagg
