What is this goddamned bug!?

Any of you gardening experts recognize this larvae? Months of searching has turned up nothing. It’s killing my bushes and meanacing my garden. I live in Japan.

  1. Looks like you need some serious help though it goes beyond my expertise – they must have general insecticide soap there. If not, diy a mix of dish soap and water. The soap will cling to it cutting off its ability to breathe.
