Trump’s recent observations of the Kavanaugh demonstrators (who were not, by the way, paid by Soros or anyone) protesting sexual assault of women (which Trump himself has been accused of many times):
“The paid D.C. protesters are now ready to REALLY protest because they haven’t gotten their checks – in other words, they weren’t paid! Screamers in Congress, and outside, were far too obvious – less professional than anticipated by those paying (or not paying) the bills!”
“I think it’s embarrassing for the country to allow protesters. You don’t even know what side the protesters are on. In the old days, we used to throw them out. Today, I guess they just keep screaming.”
I’m guessing if the protesters looked more like this, Trump’s reponse would be less inflammatory.

When I think of leaders trying to silence protesters, I think of dictators. You know, those same tyrants who shut down news outlets to more easily control their propaganda.
