This is from the local mall. Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving marking the “first Christmas shopping day” in the U.S., is now apparently “a thing” in Japan, a country with no Thanksgiving and where Christmas isn’t even a holiday. Note that “Black Friday” refers to Saturday and Sunday too.
