Inexplicable Japanese “Queen Dance”

On the TV news this morning was a segment showing a dance group doing the “Queen Dance,” which involved 30 or so young women with Freddy Mercury mustaches dancing with Michael Jackson-like moves while lip syncing a medley of Queen songs.
