Daughters of Hiroshima

In Japan, ceremonies were held yesterday for the 75th anniverary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

I and my girlfirend (now wife) visited the Hiroshima atomic bomb museum where the ceremony was held way back in 2004. The visit was quite moving and inspired me to write this story, which was published in a Texas literary magazine shortly thereafter.
