In today’s episode of “Titanic America,” we have the following:
1) Senate Republicans still refuse to acknowledge Joe Biden won the election, even after swing states all certify their votes and confirm Joe Biden won the election.
2) After Chris Krebs, Trump’s former head of cybersecurity, stated the presidential election was the most secure in the country’s history, Trump fired him by tweet and Trump’s campaign lawyer Joe diGenova said he deserved to be killed. Krebs should be “taken out at dawn and shot,” diGenova said.
3) After he and other key election (Republican) officials received rape and death threats from Trump supporters for asserting the Georgia’s voting system was untainted by fraud, implementation manager Gabriel Sterling gave an impassioned speech asking Trump to stop inspiring acts of violence. “Mr. President, you have not condemned these actions or this language. Senators, you have not condemned this language or these actions,” Sterling said, voice shaking with anger. “This has to stop. We need you to step up, and if you’re going to take a position of leadership, show some.” Trump responded by repeating baseless claims that the election was “rigged.”
“What are (they) afraid of?” tweeted the president.
4) After Joe Biden suffered small fractures in his foot while playing with his dog, QAnon believers asserted the medical boot he is wearing is actually an ankle monitor following his arrest for unspecified crimes. QAnon supporters made similar claims about Hillary Clinton and John McCain when they wore medical boots following injuries. “Amazing how common right ankle injuries are with these criminals…,” said Twitter user @Springjack73, w/hashtags used by QAnon supporters.
